Prehnite, Quartz

Description

Pale green prehnite spheres grow on a transparent quartz crystal cluster matrix. The prehnite exhibits a greasy luster, and the quartz has a very clear and transparent appearance. The more specific locality is Ebian Yi Autonomous County, Leshan City, which is located next to the famous Jinkouhe quartz producing area. The quartz on this specimen looks almost identical to Jinkouhe quartz. Similar colored prehnite is also produced in Qiaojia, Yunnan. However, the single crystals from Qiaojia are coarser and have less luster, while the crystals from Ebian are delicate and spherical with better luster. ------ 淡绿色的葡萄石球球长在透亮的水晶束基岩上，葡萄石呈油脂光泽，水晶有一直非常清澈的感觉。更加具体的产地是乐山市峨边彝族自治县，位于著名水晶产地金口河旁边。这块标本上的水晶和金口河水晶看着几乎一样。 云南巧家也有出产类似颜色的葡萄石，巧家的单晶体更粗，光泽少一点。峨边的则晶体细腻成球，光泽更好。
