These mining areas are predominantly known for tungsten and tin deposits, with native bismuth typically occurring as an associated mineral. Due to similar geological conditions, bismuth specimens from these two localities can be difficult to distinguish visually, which may lead to some specimens being mislabeled regarding their specific origin.
