棕色半透明的钙铁榴石晶束，光泽极好，晶体锋利突出，晶纹漂亮。来自美国著名的石榴石产地 Stanley Butte，该产地还出产一些墨绿色的钙铁榴石，无论哪种都和内蒙出产的很像。 ——— A cluster of translucent brown andradite crystals with excellent luster. The crystals are sharp and well-defined, exhibiting beautiful crystal striations. This specimen comes from the famous Stanley Butte garnet locality in the United States, which also produces some dark green andradites. Both types are very similar to those found in Inner Mongolia. ——— Nice grouping of lustrous translucent brown dodecahedrons from this famous garnet locality. Purchased by P Tarassoff at the 1973 Phoenix Gem and Mineral Show. This locality is now on an Aboriginal Reserve and off-limits to collecting. — D Joyce Minerals
